MYOS RENS is part of Aging in Motion, a coalition of organizations working to advance research and treatment of sarcopenia and age-related functional decline.
Together, we are working on identifying biomarkers which can be used to monitor disease progression and can improve the detection, diagnosis and ultimately help guide the effective treatment of sarcopenia and related functional decline.
MYOS RENS is committed to helping develop research tools including mechanistic models from multiple layers of longitudinal molecular and clinical data that can be used to identify actionable therapeutic targets and provide a means of measuring the impact of our therapeutic solutions on sarcopenia.
USING “BIG DATA” ANALYTICS TO HELP PREVENT Sarcopenia AND METABOLIC DISEASES
MYOS RENS is partnerting with GNSHealthcare, a leading Big Data company to improve treatment and prevention of sarcopenia and metabolic syndrome. GNS’ supercomputer-driven REFS™ (Reverse Engineering and Forward Simulation) platform will help identify people at risk for this disorder earlier, evaluate the members who already have the syndrome and pinpoint effective treatment for each member. A critical part of this effort is to establish the conditions and measures for early diagnosis.
Using claims and other health information, GNS will use a platform called REFS™ (Reverse Engineering, Forward Simulation) to create data-driven models. These models will define a person’s risk for developing sarcopenia and identify those who would benefit from biotherapeutics to treat the condition.
The NFL Alumni's Optimal Bowl and Wellness Challenge
