MYOS Board Member Peter Diamandis Named Top 50 Greatest Leaders by Fortune Magazine
MYOS Corporation board member and independent director Peter Diamandis, MD, was recently named one of the world’s top 50 greatest leaders by Fortune Magazine. Diamandis, who joined MYOS in 2011, is also Chairman and CEO of X PRIZE Foundation, a non-profit organization that creates large-scale incentivized prize competitions that lead to global innovations to benefit humanity. Additionally, he recently co-founded Human Longevity Inc. with MYOS founder Robert Hariri, MD, PhD, and J. Craig Venter, PhD.
Additional members of Fortune’s Top 50 list include Pope Francis, former U.S. president Bill Clinton, Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook and other highly regarded notables.
Diamandis received his Bachelor of Science in molecular genetics as well as his Master of Science in aerospace engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, he earned his Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and received an honorary doctorate from the International Space University.
